Busy, Busy.
We've had pumpkin patch fieldtrips, a Jog-A-thon to raise money for school, lots of soccer practices and games, some new concrete poured, a room painted, and curtains sewn. I've been busy. I'd like sleep, however, Hannah has molars coming in and hasn't been sleeping well AT ALL.
That's us for now.

Surprise! Guest appearance at my own blog....by ME!
Lately we have been doing some upgrades to our house. We got a new electrical panel, I painted, and a new roof is forthcoming. Grandpa Fox has the luxury of flying for free so he came and visited us. We love Grandpa and Grammy Fox, as well as Grandpa and Grandma W.
Levi is in choir, loves to read books galore, and feels that he should not be required to do chores. Dylan is quite helpful and still has an abundance of energy. Riley lacks the warning in his brain that says, "don't do that", and is great on the soccer field because he just goes for that ball and plows down everyone in his way. It's entertaining. Hannah is all girl. She's a nice girl. This morning I was heading out to the Temple and she said, "I'm coming!". Her favorite song is "I love to see the temple."
Matt is beyond busy. He's fabulous and I love and appreciate him. That's all for now.

Conference
I have to admit I love the Claytons. So listening to L. Whitney Clayton give a talk on how to have a marvelous marriage was fabulous!! It was such a nice little list of things to do to have a great marriage (which is my goal). His brother was my OBGYN who delivered Levi and I just love that family. The talk will eventually be found at .
Mini post... la la la

Dylan is by far my most helpful child. Who knew? Riley needs to see an eye doctor because one eye droops and apparently doesn't do what it should (as found out during an eye exam at school). Hannah is addicted to Mickey Mouse clubhouse.... it's the first thing she asks for when she wakes up in the morning.
I've gone a whole 5 days without soda. I'm so proud. Levi is a reading super star. Matt is just a fabulous person and works a lot and works hard and we love him.

A F*A*B*U*L*O*U*S purchase...

I bought this "Wet 2 Straight" Hot Iron at Ulta for $24 (I had a coupon). It is AMAZING! My normally curly, frizzy hair was quickly transformed as I did the following: After showering I put John Frieda Frizz serum in my hair, proceeded to put on my makeup as my hair did it's kinky/curly thing, and then I busted out the hot iron (it's 2" wide) and had this straight hair within 5 minutes. I'm not even kidding or exaggerating on the speed in which my hair was dry and straight. Granted, it helps that my hair is incredibly thin, but still.... This product is life changing! Hooray!

Never a dull moment being the Mom!

Hannah was throwing up on Friday, I felt gross yesterday and today, and Dylan started throwing up today. How fun.
See the picture of Levi mopping floors? He's getting pretty good. He's also been doing LOTS of chores lately because he bought some games for his itouch without permission and then lied about it. So he's earning those off (and still has a ways to go). Hannah is growing like a weed (the pretty weeds). She and Riley (age 3.5) wear the same size clothes. She had that cast on and when I went to put her pants on her (and shoes, too!) now that it's off she didn't fit in either the shoes or the pants.
I changed up my favorite style of bows to make (pictured). It's always good to change things up. I also got back in a routine of going to the gym (or exercising with friends running outside) early in the morning. This has helped SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. :-)

Happenings

Dylan went face first down a slide and lost with the gravel. Hannah figured out how to use the table as leverage to brace her walking boot under the edge of the table and then pull her foot out.... she then limps away smiling. Matt took me to see Beauty and the Beast on stage. It was lovely! Levi is great at running, swimming, spelling, and math. Dylan just started swimming lessons and is thrilled! Riley was having issues sleeping. I would put him to bed vertically and find him in the middle of the night horizontal with half his body hanging off the bed.... No wonder he wakes up repeatedly. Soooo, we turned his bed so he is horizontal and it has proven to help with his sleeping thus far. Good ole' Feng Shui.... I created a schedule that if followed helps me to have gym time, scripture time, dedicated kid time, chore time, dinner prep time. 3 days in and I'm on a roll!! Hooray!

A week off from school??

We had the entire week off from school for President's week. Off we went to Southern California. My siblings took great pictures of my kidlets (but I don't have those pictures yet). I had a great time because I got to visit my dear, dear friends and sit and talk and talk and talk and not feel rushed. Meanwhile, my children ran amuck and had a splendid time. It was a lovely visit. We saw both sets of Grandparents, lots of cousins, and had MANY playdates. I failed to take pictures at all the friends houses that I visited and I am sad about that. So here is what you get... It was a nice week and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
