This post serves the purpose of moving down the post of me. Every time I log on I see my face from the post about my hair and it's creeping me out. So, I will proceed to write random thoughts just to move it down. You might glean some actual information from this... or not.
Levi was sick. The throwing up kind. He didn't quite understand that I didn't want him to throw up on the couch. Oh well... he didn't, so it was okay. He just wanted to be held. I am okay with that. I like sick kids solely for that reason... they cuddle. I love cuddling..
I can't breathe. Well, not with my nose anyhow. I am all congested and everything hurts. I think colds in the summer are evil.
Dylan cracks me up. That sweet little boy woke up last night (2:27am) with everything on him, around him and under him sopping wet. He starting smiling and cooing when I came in to feed him. Well, we had a little party while I cleaned everything up and changed him, then fed him. You all know the drill since the majority of you have children and experience (or remember) these types of events.
My husband is just fantastic. He can read my mind, ya know. I am so glad I found a man who can! Lucky me! He's a patient guy who handles everything life throws him so well. He also feels like crap currently and is going to work oodles and oodles and still have a brain. He's going to be "on call" for the next 2 months. That means a couple phone calls a night and less sleeping for both of us. Whhheee! I sure do appreciate him, though. (thanks Matt!)
That reminds me of my OBGYN with Levi. Who has a brain at 1am to perform a c-section? Doctors are amazing.
Do you like my random thoughts? Okay, well, I have to go back to work soon, so I will just stop my rambling. Enjoy your day. I look forward to reading your blogs. Please update them! Thanks!

Breaking Dawn
The new Stephanie Meyer book is coming out very, very soon. Is there anyone out there (local, preferably) that will let me borrow their copy once they buy it and finish reading it? Thank you!
It's all in the family...
Over the course of my life (mostly when I was over the age of 20... okay, so that's 9 years), I have heard "oh, you look just like Abby!" No offense to Abby, but I don't. Until today. This is the 1st time in my life that I thought that I remotely resembled my sister. Ta-Da! Curls.
I hacked off my hair. I have always been fully supportive of change. It's inevitable, so I say EMBRACE IT!! (This is true for every aspect of my life... just go with the flow and it will all work out in the end). My hair WAS long. It was pretty. My hair was falling out. Apparently that is normal after having a child. Anyhow, I needed a change. Long story short (oh... hair too!) I had it cut off. Since Levi and I have been up since 3am, I wasn't really in a "let's blow dry my hair and try to make it cute" kind of mood. I let it do it's natural thing. It had obviously been weighed down by the length because I have never had this much curl in my life! Everyone at church thought I got a perm! Well, tomorrow I will blow dry it and straighten it and all that stuff and I'm sure I'll post what my hair cut looks like once I do that. However, for now, it's just curly and short and lighter and breezy and I am pleased with this change! Yay!
P.S. If you click on the picture it will get bigger and you can see the details of the curls. (at least it does that on my computer. If it doesn't on yours, disregard this comment).

Wow! Look what I made!
Maybe it's not polite to say "hey, look at me", but HEY! Look what I made! I am so excited because I needed a pretty, semi-large floral arrangement to go in our dining room on top of a corner bookcase thing and if you've priced custom made ones, they are expensive. This entire thing cost me $22.00 Yay!! I had a lot of fun sticking the flower stems into the styrofoam and making it all balanced and pretty. It's so beautiful and I am so pleased with the way it looks!

The Happiest Place on Earth, Part 2
Our vacation included a visit to Disneyland. We left baby Dylan in my mother's care and joined the rest of Matt's family for a fun-filled day. My niece, KayLea, stayed with us for half the day. Levi just loves her. The day was better seeing everything through the eyes of a child. Here are Levi's words about Disneyland...
"I played on the toys (toon town) and a roller coaster. I went on two horsies in the castle (carousel). I was scared from the big snowman (Matterhorn). I was sad. There were nice pirates, they were not mean, Mom.
After we went on the Matterhorn, I asked Levi if he liked that ride. He said, "Yes I did!!" It was so cute!

Okay, I lied.
So, I haven't gone to bed yet (as stated in the below post). I have so many pictures that I wanted to share. On two of our days of vacation we went swimming. Levi loved it. I loved it. I am fairly certain that Matt rather enjoyed it, and Dylan thought it was fabulous. Good times all around...
Levi and Grandpa Fox. Grandpa was so accomodating on Levi's first day in the pool. Levi's cousin, KayLea, so kindly shared her floaties with him later on and he just loved that!
Dylan hung out in the pack-n-play and just looked cute.
Later, Dylan and I went in the pool and he was kicking and splashing and gurgling. So cute!!
Matt and Levi
I forgot how fabulous pools are and how nice water feels on a hot day. It was really nice!
Next blurby, then bed.
Whirlwind of activity...(it's been a long, but short, week).
Hello there! I know it's been so long since you've heard from us and you were most likely waiting with baited breath to hear about our lives. The wait is over!! I am officially home and while Matt is unpacking (gotta love that man)... I am catching up on the lives of others and filling you in on our vacation.
Matt's brother got married this past weekend. He married a very nice girl named Amber. She will fit right in and Sam is happy. (Such a win-win situation all around). Matt was a groomsman and we were quite involved in all the family festivities. Stay tuned!! There are a lot more pictures of our vacation. This is just one day of the past week... and it's been quite busy.

4 months and eating!
The other day Matt initiated the process of feeding Dylan baby food. He picked up some bananas and applesauce at the store and announced that we were going to have some family entertainment! This is his first infant and so he was new to the whole thing (Dylan was too... so it worked out well.) Matt started off with a toddler spoon, but then I busted out the infant sized spoons and it worked better.
Dylan was very cooperative (unlike Levi's first try). Dylan even opened his mouth when the spoon came towards him and ate ALL OF IT!! It was truly amazing.

We also gave him some prunes because he needs them... I kept waiting all night for him to wake up in pain because he ate so much and this was a new thing to his tummy, but he didn't have any problems with any of it and has enjoyed eating since. Yay Dylan!!
He still prefers his fingers to food or formula and has since birth.

My boys
This morning Levi was sitting next to Dylan, singing to him. He said, "Mom, what are the words to Hokey Pokey? I want to sing the right words to Dylan."
How cute is that?? Dylan totally loved his brother hanging out with him!

Check out his muscles!
He brings us such joy!
Our sweet little boy is 4 months old. He is awfully smiley and oh-so-cute! He likes to stand (with help) and be talked to. We just love our little Dylan! Today we got our the Jumperoo. I love that thing! Dylan thoroughly enjoyed it and is the perfect age/height for it. He hasn't figured out how to jump, but when he stood up in it and moved around he was quite excited! Levi was quick to point out that when he (Levi) was little he "played it that jump thing too".
Hanging out in his crib... What a cute boy!
So, on this fabulous 4th of July, we had quality family bonding time and now Levi and Daddy are out getting a parking space for the fireworks show. I am staying home with the baby, enjoying a relaxing evening with my book. Aaaahhh!!! Levi was excited to go out with "no mommy, no Dylan, just Levi and Daddy". Yup~ I hope they're having a wonderful time!
