Finally an update!

It's never good when I hear Dylan saying, "Shhh, it's okay" because usually it's not. This morning he was carrying my sleeping baby (until he got her) by her neck down the hall. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "Just bringing her to you." Last night Dylan ripped the handle off the fridge. Then he figured out the lock on it. That kid!!

Riley is Dylan's best friend and they do everything together. Riley is a sweet boy who loves his baby. He likes to be soft and pat Hannah. He also likes me to hold him a lot more now, and I'm okay with that. He loves the show Go, Diego, Go. Riley also loves his pacifier and isn't willing to give it up (he's almost 2).

Hannah just smiled for the first time yesterday!! Today she was cooing and being so sweet and cute. Sadly, she outgrew the size newborn clothes today. She now fits in the 0-3 month outfits. This just means my baby is growing up!!! She'll be 6 weeks old on Monday and weighs just over 9 pounds. She loves to be swaddled.

Levi is spending the summer at camp. According to him I am boring and the meanest mom ever (I won't let him play computer or video games all day). So, he gets to spend lots of time at a park running and leaping, and playing lots of outside games and having fun with water. Really it is much preferable than listening to him whine. He loves to go to camp and that is good. He is VERY helpful with Hannah and in general with helping with chores and just being the oldest and most capable.

Matt is working hard wiring a new restaurant with speakers and video surveillance (and I'm sure something else). He is also going to be a soccer referee again. Of course he also keeps very busy with all his technological callings and high council stuff.

I am doing much better now. :-) I just had to realize that this season of my life needs to focus solely on my darling children. I have Sunday mornings down! It takes 2 hours to get us all out the door and on time (Matt is usually at meetings). I've had a lot of bow orders too and discovered bottlecaps for bows. Last night I was up until 10pm making bows since I am busy doing Mom stuff during the day. All is well in our world, and now my children have realized that I am sitting here and I have to go tend to them. Happy day!

They look like their Dad.

Here are some pictures of Dylan and Hannah. I think they look a lot alike. What do you think?

Dylan's conversation

This is a conversation I had with Dylan this morning:
Dyl--"Mom, when is Hannah going back in your tummy?"
Me--"she's not, she's here forever and ever"
Dyl--"When will she turn into something?"
Me--"Huh?? What did you want her to turn into?"
Dyl--"A boy."
