Lego Fun

The point was to make race cars. Daddy's was super cool. Levi also made a neat car that looks just like a race car. (sorry, couldn't turn the picture).
It was a constant battle to keep Dylan from eating the legos.

I need your sympathy.

I just went to In-N-Out for lunch and got my meal to go. I got out of my car and locked my keys in the car, leaving my burger, fries and drink also in there. I am so sad and so hungry. Please be sad with me. No one can rescue me until 3:30pm. I'm saddest about the burger. Oh well....

RaNdOm PhOtOs

Levi rides his bike around our kitchen. He fake crashed and asked me to come see him. Nice. Dylan, just being Dylan. Cutie Patootie!
Aaaahhh... one of those rare moments captured on film. It was 6:45pm and we were both out.Dylan is great at entertaining himself.
Levi practicing his ABC's. He got these cool stencils from Grandma and Grandpa.
Daddy and the boys
Mommy is so outnumbered. Oh well....
And that's what we've been doing lately.

An explanation

I just read, "A recent paper titled "You are what your mother eats" found that women who ate lots of breakfast cereal, salt and potassium were more likely to give birth to baby boys."

That would certainly explain why I have two little boys. While I am not a huge partaker of salt, I indulge frequently in cereal and bananas. I guess boys it is.

One of my favorite things...

I love it when Levi doesn't know I am around and is quietly playing and singing to himself. It is so adorable. For example: this morning he was singing a primary song that I thought he didn't know (he does!) while playing with his cars. I was in the other room listening to his sweet little voice. That is just one of my favorite things.

I can't believe it.

This very cute little boy is now a Sunbeam!!
It's been an adjustment for him to be in sharing time and singing time, then class. He usually is looking for me about 15 minutes before church is out. Since I am in Primary with him, it is sort of hard to be one of the people in charge and still let Levi know that I love him, but have to help the other kids too. It's an adjustment for him. He sure does look adorable though and I love watching him sing all the songs and try to learn new things. Of course, he wants to tell everyone about his cars, but that's pretty typical of kids in general. He listens to his Primary CD all the time and knows a lot of the songs already. He's a smart little guy.

Today Dylan rebelled

Dylan adamantly refused to eat his baby food today. Instead, he wanted the pot roast, potatoes and carrots that the rest of the family was eating. So I complied. He wanted seconds even!

I failed to write a report on Dylan's latest growth. He is 10 months old and weighs 25 pounds. He still puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. He can stand for a good 15-20 seconds unassisted and crawls incredibly fast. He really wants to run and do everything Levi is doing, but alas, is stuck to the ground for now. He's a cutie-patootie!

Ha ha ha

Don't you just love sibling rivalry? It kind of cracks me up because it is such a part of life. Levi got a cool Hot Wheels track from Gma and Gpa Fox. Dylan is quite interested in the cars, track, and exploding pieces. He often wants to play with Levi and certainly with Levi's cars, not his own. Notice Levi's irritation and tears. Dylan was "getting my stuff!"
Dylan was successful. (I am totally laughing)

Okay, I removed Dylan so Levi could have fun. Sheesh. They crack me up!

Good times!

Levi doesn't like taking baths lately. I have no idea why... Well, actually it might have something to do with Dylan's constant splashing and trying to attack Levi... It's kind of humorous. I usually have to bribe Levi with something. Popsicles in the bathtub work well (Thanks Erica!!). Today I joined the boys since Levi thinks hanging out with me in the water is cool. Don't ask me why because I have no idea. Anyhow, they were bathed. Yay!

Simplify

My resolution for this new 2009 year is to simplify.
What's yours?
