When It Rains, It Pours.

I do promise that this won't become the world's most depressing blog. However, since it is a journal and you are all my friends, I thought I'd share today's fun adventure. I am sure you have all had your share of house/financial problems... you have my utmost sympathy.

Our roof leaks. In two places. I hope you are enjoying the pictures of my husband putting a tarp up (held down with big bricks) since it's late and raining and we'd rather it didn't get worse. Good times!! Are you having fun yet?? Matt just said "What would top this evening off is if we lose power." Is he trying to encourage bad luck? I think I'll go to bed (then this hypothetical power outage won't be an issue for me). Good night!

Someone doesn't like us.

Actually, there are probably many people that don't like us. However, I am referring to whomever chose to break another car window last night. 2 windows in two months. If this becomes a pattern, I am going to need a second job. Sigh....

Escape to Utah!

I really needed a break from life and a reason to go to Utah. My sister, April, so kindly allowed me to plan a party at her house. It was a craft/scrapbooking/eat junk food/talk party. It was so so so fun and totally what I needed!!!!! This is Emily and Matt! I haven't seen them in 2 1/2 years!! It was wonderful!

What's New?

My friend Sherry gave me this sign as an early birthday present. I think it is hilarious and should be my new motto!!

Matt has been on-call for work and has spent the day doing two things: answering support calls, and cleaning. (I did not clean... thank you Matt!)

Dylan is finally feeling better and pulled all the books off the shelves (not pictured) and went for the balls. Those are two major things he does when he's feeling good.

At 5:30pm I went looking for Levi. I found him on the bathroom floor.... asleep. I put his jammies on him and put him in bed. Yes, I realize that he may now wake up at 3am, but that's a chance I am willing to take. He had a very busy day.
