What a nice boy!

I have been talking with Levi about money. He has a piggy bank that had $6.10 in it. He was feeling very rich. I had a talk with him last night about how if he wants to buy something he has to use his money to buy it, and when it's gone, he has to earn it again and start over saving.

Well. This morning he declared that he was going to use all his money in his piggy bank and go to Chuck E. Cheese. Seeing as how he is 5.5 years old I didn't give him the "is that wise" speech, but instead just told him that it would take all his money and he'd get to play 24 games with $6.10. He said that that was fine.

So, after school this afternoon we went to Chuck E. Cheese. He actually got bonus tokens because they do a report card token reward program. With 32 tokens in his pocket, no more money in his bank, and two little eager brothers and one ecstatic Levi, we walked around and carefully spent those tokens. Levi was so, so nice. If Dylan or Riley wanted to play something, he kindly, and freely handed over a token. It was only when he had 2 left that he patiently told Dylan that he wanted to play his last two tokens on his game choice. It was a nice hour and a half of playing in the tube/slide thing, collecting tickets (110 total... Wow, he was thrilled!), and learning how to play air hockey.

It's the happiest I've seen Levi in a while and he was so kind to his siblings and me all day. Yay! It was very kind and generous of him to treat us to a Chuck E. Cheese afternoon. Thanks Levi!

That is so awesome! I am so glad Levi was so kind and willing to share. He had a plan of what he wanted to do, you allowed him to accomplish his plan, and he made it so that others that were with him enjoyed the adventure as well. Great Job Levi! You are being a great brother and a good guy!
