Your little seeds no more can spread
the endless shoots in our grass so green.
Die, palm tree, die.
So harsh, but so needed.
Always there,
just blowing in the wind,
marking our home.
Endlessly dropping little bombs of palm.
Gone, palm tree, gone.
(The picture you are looking at is of the pile of woodshavings from a palm tree that was HUGE and in front of our house. The palm tree is no more.)

Yay for it being gone!!! And that was a fabulous poem.
Was there a dead man lying under it?
Dadu using another bloggers site
love the poem, had to laugh, we have a pine tree that we want gone, but it's soo tall.
I bet it looks so different without the tree there. When can I come by and see it?
